Jan Radil is an engineer and works for the National Research and Education Network of Czech Republic, Eastern Europe.
He is involved with relevant projects related to open photonic devices for optical multicast, deployment of ROADMs (Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer) provisioning new lambda services, Wavelenght Converter for Dense Wavelenght Division Multiplex (DWDM) transmissions, among others.
